- Hello!
- My name is Jake (Jakob Grady Morrow) and I was born on Saturday, June 20th at 9:54am. I weighed 6 lbs, 15 oz and was 21 inches long. I came just in time for Father's Day and right around my due date...a perfect arrival in my mom & dad's eyes!
Patina is the name of the business I dream to start one day! I was inspired by the word "patina" because it describes the color that copper turns as it ages over time when it has put up with harsh elements. It turns the most beautiful shade of spa blue-ish green. I think about that color when I make my handmade items because I create them from scraps of old materials or everyday items that would normally be thrown away because of their age or uselessness. But, when I see them I dream of what they can become and with a little refreshing they turn into delightful treasures. For years I have been an aspiring entrepreneur and I'm slowly on my way to creating my own website to sell my handcrafted handbags, totes, greeting cards, stationary, clothing, baby gear and pet products. I like to use vintage and recycled materials to create a unique look and make use of materials around me. I hope you enjoy this site and come along with me on this journey into starting my own business!
